'The future beckons, and who are we to ignore its call? We’ve been many places. We’ve seen many things. And if things to come are ever changing, a mass of possibilities whose only governing law is the nature of the choices that we make, then surely it is we who control our destiny…
For the past serves one purpose, and that is to remind us of where, and who, we would like to be. For these reasons, the past must be remembered, and embraced, as opposed to discarded and disguised, locked away with a slowly vanishing key.
But remember: it is not the past, but the future that is steadily shaping us into who we will become…'
The band was originally formed 5 years ago, and over the course of this time we have witnessed many members come and go. The current line-up, however, is by far the strongest it has ever been. It is difficult to say exactly what style of music it is that we play, or even what style it is we are going for, because of the vast array of influences and inspiration that we have happened upon, not only personally, but also as a whole.
The current focus of our attention is upon our latest EP, the first of three, entitled 'A Hero Emerges'. Set a thousand years after the great Battle of Heaven, in which Lucifer was cast to the earth along with a third of the Heavenly Host, it focuses upon Morningstar, a young boy with incredible power, and his quest to find the true meaning of his baffling, and sometimes terrifying dreams.
His journey begins with a dark vision, manifested in him by the mystic prophet known only as the Guardian, along with a task. He must safely procure and deliver to the Seven Lords that which they most desire, the one thing that could forever destroy a dark Evil that is threatening the entire land.
In preparation for the release of this new material, we have been gigging as much as possible in order to spread the word of our new endeavour. Having spent hours upon hours practicing before even considering playing it live, we feel that we have developed a formidable live show that is only getting better with every gig we play.
To say that we are excited about the future of Lunatic High is an understatement. We are somewhere now that we have never been, and are continuing to grow with every new song that we write…
